Great coffee and delicious bites as well. The owner was so friendly and made you feel at home. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I will definitely return on my next visit to Tokyo!

Everything about this coffee shop is worth the visit. During my stay here, I came here twice and enjoyed it thoroughly. The taste of this coffee is pure and delicious. The barista will ask you if you like your coffee rich or fruity to start and from there pick beans that provide those notes of flavor. I tried both options and was delighted with the taste both times. The atmosphere here is wonderful. You’re seated at a bar, so you get to watch the baristas make your drink(s) right in front of you, which feels quite therapeutic. The baristas are masters of their craft, so watching them work is an experience in itself! The baristas were such a delight to talk to. They are both very kind and thoughtful. On my second visit, they asked me questions about my stay and some of my favorite foods in Japan. They even wrote down some recommendations for good places to eat during my stay! If you’re looking for a coffee shop where you can sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and a great cup of coffee, I definitely would recommend trying Hayakawa Coffee!

Divine coffee experience! The best coffee we had in Tokyo. The service is extremely polite and the attention to detail just outstanding. The barista is super kind and made every visit special! Honestly can't recommend enough if you are into high quality coffee. Perfect!

We had one of the best experiences in Tokyo here. The coffee shop is small and intimate and the coffee was just perfect. We felt so good here-they were so welcoming and kind to us. They even recommended some nice food spots which I didn’t expect. We left feeling so overjoyed. We’ll absolutely visit again. I highly recommend this spot!

One of my best coffee experiences in Tokyo. Amazing atmosphere, with a super calming vibe. The owner is elegantly dressed and prepares everything masterfully. There's a big selection of coffee beans. They even bring the ground beans to you, to smell their aroma before they prepare the drink. The coffee was excellent, as was also the creme caramelé that I tried. The owner was very welcoming and even gave me his tips for the best ramen shops in my area (and one of those was a highlight in my trip). I'll be back to Hayakawa in my next visit for sure

Best cafe I have ever been to! They were extremely patient with us even though we didnt know Japanese. The drinks were delicious and they even allowed us to smell the aroma, Ive never experienced that before at a cafe! :) highly recommend if you're a tourist!

Attention to detail was exceptional, I had a Chinese drip my partner their fruity suggestion for a cortado both great. Service is fantastic, explains what he does and why he even gave us restaurant recommendations before we left. Only downsides opens late on some days and only a couple of seats but absolutely worth visiting if you want a great cup of coffee without the massive queues and excellent service

The best coffee experience we had during our most recent 10 days in Japan. The coffee selection is so varied and interesting and the brew is absolutely perfect! We had a hard time choosing which of the sweet treats to have since they all looked delicious and settled on the cheesecake and chocolate madeline - so tasty! The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and his passion for the shop and providing a special customer experience is truly felt! We already can’t wait to go back!
